We recently introduced our Bio-Boost treatment using the Alma Harmony XL Pro on our social media — and we’re excited to share more about why it’s become a standout addition to our skin treatment offerings.
Earlier this year, we had the incredible opportunity to attend The Alma Academy in Croatia, where we explored some of the most advanced innovations in laser technology. The experience offered powerful insight into how science and safety are shaping the future of skin health.
One of the key technologies we focused on was Harmony Bio-Boost — a non-invasive laser treatment and a combination of three different hand pieces - that uses biostimulation to activate the skin’s natural repair and regeneration processes.

Our team took their learning a step further by dedicating time to focused, hands-on training with Chloe - an expert Alma trainer - to refine and deepen their skills with our Harmony XL Pro laser system.
This advanced training was all about mastering the specific protocols of the Bio-Boost treatment.
Our practitioners worked closely with Chloe to understand the intricacies of laser parameters, treatment layering, and skin assessment - ensuring that every Bio-Boost session is tailored for maximum safety, precision, and visible results.
They explored how to adapt the treatment for a range of skin types and conditions, how to sequence it within a broader skin health plan, and how to optimise outcomes by combining it with other complementary therapies when appropriate.
This investment in training reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering evidence-based treatments with confidence, care, and clinical excellence - so our patients receive not just cutting-edge technology, but the expertise to match.

As part of our continued growth and commitment to clinical excellence, Medi-Spa 28 will be discontinuing all traditional beauty services - including manicures, pedicures, waxing, and lash & brow treatments.
This strategic shift allows us to fully focus on what sets us apart: advanced, medically led skincare and device-based treatments.
Our services are now centred around three dedicated divisions:

⚡️Laser@28 – Cutting-edge laser treatments using the latest ALMA devices.
🫧The Spa@28 – A private wellbeing sanctuary with premium treatments and event hire.
We’re also preparing to launch Surgery@28 in the near future.

On our Social Media, we discussed the ban on remote prescribing of prescription-only treatments – including anti-wrinkle and line-softening injectables.
This long-awaited change is a positive step forward for patient safety and professional accountability 👏
But let’s be clear: this isn’t new to us.
At Medi-Spa 28, we’ve always carried out in-person consultations before prescribing any treatment.
Why? Because safe, ethical practice starts with truly understanding each patient – their medical history, their goals, and their overall health.
While it’s encouraging to see the industry move in the right direction, there’s still more to be done to tighten regulations and protect patients across the board.
We hosted the Revanesse Inner Circle meeting at Medi-Spa 28 - and brought together a brilliant community of medical aesthetic professionals. 💛
These exclusive gatherings offer a safe, professional space for practitioners to develop their knowledge, explore advanced techniques, and connect with like-minded experts across the industry.
Kicking things off, our very own Dan delivered a powerful session on body dysmorphia - opening up important conversations around patient psychology, ethical practice, and the responsibilities we hold as medical aesthetic professionals.
Dr Alison Coleville followed with expert insights into tear trough treatments, sharing practical tips and advanced approaches, while the renowned Sharon King – the Complications Queen – offered valuable guidance and teased exciting developments on the horizon for the industry.
After the learning, guests had the opportunity to unwind in our boutique spa with a grazing table, drinks, and an obligatory dip in the vitality pool.

We are so pleased to introduce Lara to the Medi-Spa 28 team.
Lara is a highly skilled Laser and Skin Practitioner with a Level 4 and 5 qualification in Aesthetics and is currently working towards a BA (Hons) degree in Aesthetics. She brings both technical expertise and a passion for results-driven treatments to every client experience.
Specialising in advanced skin therapies, Lara offers a range of treatments including laser skin rejuvenation and hair removal using the state-of-the-art Alma Harmony XL machine, microneedling, radio frequency, and chemical peels.
Her approach is personalised, combining in-depth knowledge with a warm, professional manner to help clients achieve their skin goals safely and effectively.
