June at Medi-Spa 28
This month, we talked about something that makes a bigger difference than most people realise - the timing of your treatments.
We're right in the middle of wedding and holiday season, and if you're planning ahead for a big event, timing really does matter. The best results don't just come from choosing the right treatment. They come from choosing the right treatment at the right time.
Allowing enough time for your course of treatments, healing, and aftercare is what takes your results from good to great.
If you've got a holiday, wedding, or special occasion coming up - now is the time to plan.

This month we also shared some exciting news - we've introduced Trustpilot reviews at Medi-Spa 28.
Patient feedback is so important to us. Not just as a regulatory requirement, but because it helps us celebrate what we're doing well and keep improving for you
As a thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave a review, we're running a giveaway and there are only a couple of days left to enter
One lucky reviewer will win a selection of our brand-new Skin 28 skincare range, worth around £180, plus their very own skin diagnosis using our Alma IQ skin analysis system so we can understand exactly what your skin needs and recommend the right products for you.
Thank you so much for your continued support. It really does mean everything to us.
Dan had the privilege of attending the Merz Anatomy Masterclass, using the Surgical Sculpture Skull to reconstruct facial anatomy layer by layer, exploring the complex relationships between bone, fat compartments, muscles, blood vessels and facial nerves.
Led by consultant plastic surgeon Dr Dalvi Hamzi and Medi-Spa 28 friend and educator Dr Nathalie Cain, the session provided an incredible hands-on opportunity to deepen our understanding of the structures that underpin every aesthetic treatment we perform.
Patient safety and natural results begin with anatomy. The more we understand what lies beneath the skin, the better equipped we are to assess, plan and treat with confidence.
Many of our patients come to us presenting with tired, heavy eyes - excess skin, drooping eyelids, or under-eye bags that leave them looking fatigued, even when they feel great.
Professor Irfan Jeeva, globally renowned oculoplastic surgeon and founder of the Eyelid Wellness Group, is consulting at Medi-Spa 28. Professor Jeeva specialises in blepharoplasty - a procedure that removes excess skin and restores a brighter, more refreshed appearance to the eyes.
We shared a swipe-through this month to help our patients understand more about what the procedure involves and who it's suitable for.
If this is something you'd like to explore, you can complete our Surgery Consultation Form and a member of our team will be in touch.
Meet our lovely patient, Molly 💛
Molly came to us this month after experiencing facial asymmetry following Bell’s palsy.
Bell’s palsy is a condition that causes sudden weakness or paralysis to one side of the face. It happens when the facial nerve becomes affected, which can impact the way the muscles move and, in some cases, the overall balance and appearance of the face.
For Molly, this presented as a drooping of the left side of her face, which also affected the appearance of her under-eye area and the corner of her lip. As you can see from the arrows in the video, there was an indentation under her left eye and reduced support through the lower face, creating visible asymmetry.
We discussed Molly’s concerns in detail and explored the best treatment options to help gently restore balance and support. We had originally treated her with dermal filler to help lift and support the left corner of the lip, which assisted in improving the overall result. However, for a longer-lasting and more supportive outcome, we decided that a ReLife Double Needled Thread Lift would be the best next step.
We treated the left side of Molly’s face to gently lift, support and rebalance the area affected by the facial nerve weakness, helping to create a natural-looking result without changing her features.
Hearing our patients share their own experiences means so much. Thank you, Molly, for trusting us and for helping others understand what carefully planned aesthetic treatment can achieve.
Every treatment begins with a thorough consultation to ensure the right option is chosen for your individual needs. Results will always vary, but our priority is creating natural, confidence-boosting outcomes.
