This Month on Social Media: ITV’s This MorningHighlights Botched Botox Warning.
We joined the conversation around a powerful segment aired on ITV’s This Morning, which revealed some alarming statistics: in a survey of 1,000 Botox patients, 50% reported complications serious enough to require medical intervention.
On our social channels, we reinforced an important message: your safety comes first. We urged our audience to always choose medically qualified practitioners – professionals registered with the GMC, GDC, or NMC, and ideally working in CQC-regulated environments.
We also shared key reminders:
Verify qualifications, experience, and insurance.
Review patient feedback.
Ask about complication history.
Always check that the treatment setting is clinical and appropriate.
Worryingly, some treatments are still being offered in unsafe environments like kitchens or back rooms of salons. These are not suitable for medical procedures and carry significant risks.
Your health and safety matter – always do your research and choose regulated, professional care.
